Accommodation Features

The cabin includes three bedrooms with two double beds and two bunk beds, ideal for families or small groups. The open-plan kitchen is fully equipped, leading into a living area with DStv, Wi-Fi, and seating that opens onto a balcony with lake and mountain views. Bedding, towels, and soap are provided.

For larger groups, guests may camp on the River Cabin site for an additional fee.

Outdoor Features

Set along the Klein River, the cabin features a private balcony, KolKol hot tub, braai area, and direct path to the lake. The open surroundings offer space for swimming, walking, and relaxing in nature.

Guests share access to the riverfront with other farm visitors, though units are spaced about 100 metres apart for privacy.

On-Site Dog Activities

Dogs are welcome throughout the property and can enjoy swimming, running, and hiking on the farm. The area is open and unfenced, so dogs must remain under supervision. The farm includes resident dogs, including Simba the ridgeback, who is friendly and well-managed by the hosts.

Nearby Pet-Friendly Attractions

Stanford and nearby Walker Bay Nature Reserve offer beaches, trails, and wine farms for dog-friendly outings. Hermanus is just 30 minutes away for day trips.

Pet Policy

• Up to 4 dogs of any size or breed welcome.
• Dogs must be non-aggressive and social with people and other dogs.
• The area is unfenced; supervise dogs at all times.
• Bring your own dog bedding and towels.
• No dogs on beds or furniture (white linen).
• Clean up after dogs on lawns and walking areas.
• Towels for wet dogs available from Rachel.
• Check pets for fleas before arrival.

Practical Information

A R500 cleaning fee applies to each booking.
Staff are available on-site 24/7 for check-in and assistance.
Long-term stays are allowed, and parking is free on the premises.
