With 3 bedrooms, each boasting its own en-suite bathroom, The Diary Cottage comfortably sleeps 6 guests. Fully furnished with linen and towels provided, your comfort is their priority. Once a working dairy, the cottage has been lovingly renovated and modernized, quickly becoming a favorite among pet-friendly travelers. Enjoy the convenience of a fully equipped kitchen, DSTV, fireplace, fire pit, and 2 spacious patios that invite you to savor the best of farm life.
Located in Dullstroom, also known as Emnothweni, this charming town in Mpumalanga province is renowned for its premier fly-fishing spots, alongside Underberg. Just 35 kilometers north of Belfast and 53 kilometers southwest of Lydenburg, Dullstroom beckons with its tranquil beauty and abundant outdoor adventures.
Dullstroom is a very pet friendly town with most parks, amenities and restaurants allowing dogs.
PET POLICY
At The Dairy Cottage, we extend a warm welcome to dogs of all shapes and sizes, ensuring a wonderful experience for every four-legged friend. While we embrace a wide range of breeds, we kindly ask that Huskies be arranged prior to arrival, as our facilities may require special precautions for these adventurous escape artists. To ensure your pet's comfort, please bring along their bedding and food bowls.
Exploring our farm is a delightful adventure for you and your furry companion. While dogs are permitted to roam off-leash under your supervision, we ask that you always carry their leashes for safety. With wildlife abound, including Wildebeest and Springbok, it's essential to keep your pet protected with tick prevention measures before venturing out.
We strive to maintain a clean and comfortable environment for all guests, so we kindly request that dogs refrain from furniture privileges. If your pet is accustomed to snuggling up on the bed, please bring your own bedding and linen to ensure a cozy night's rest. Given the possibility of muddy romps, we recommend packing an old towel for quick clean-ups.
At The Dairy Cottage, we cherish our four-legged visitors and offer pet-friendly accommodations in our Stables and The Dairy Cottage units for a nominal fee of R50 per dog per night. We look forward to hosting you and your beloved pets on our farm for a memorable stay.
