Silo Lodge
Silo Lodge provides pet-friendly self-catering accommodation on a scenic farm near Dullstroom, nestled in the serene hills of Trout Country. The lodge features three en suite bedrooms, accommodating up to six guests. Bedrooms include two with double beds and one with twin beds. Additionally, one bathroom boasts an outdoor shower for a unique experience. The house has a private trout dam strictly for trout fishing and although not individually fenced there is a basic barb wire fence around the compound to keep cattle and game away from the house. The nearest property is about 700m away, ensuring privacy for humans and more reactive dogs.

The spacious lounge at Silo Lodge features a sociable bar and an open fireplace that connects with the adjacent dining room, which seats six guests comfortably. The well-equipped kitchen includes a gas stove with an electrical oven, microwave, fridge/freezer, dishwasher, and gas and electrical kettle. From the living area, guests can step onto a verandah with a well-equipped built-in braai, offering picturesque views of the trout dam and impressive mountain range.
At Silo Lodge, guests can unwind in the stunning KolKol Wood-Fired Hot Tub, set against a backdrop of scenic mountain views. This outdoor feature allows guests to enjoy the sunset while relaxing in the hot tub. Upon request, we can arrange to have the hot tub filled and warmed before the guest's arrival.
PET POLICY
Silo Lodge allows a maximum of four small to medium breed dogs or two large breeds per booking, provided they are well-trained and sleep in their own beds. Kindly note that there are cattle and wildlife on the farm, so please keep your dog on lead if they are not game or stock trained.
