Welcome to Maple House, a haven for pet-loving travelers nestled in the serene Dullstroom countryside. Located approximately 13km outside of Dullstroom, our self-catering guest farm strives to provide you with the most comfortable experience. Accessible via the well-maintained Machadodorp gravel road, even a sedan car can navigate the journey.
Maple House offers a picturesque view of the farm's horse stables. With 5 bedrooms, including one with a king bed, two with double beds, and two with twin beds, this spacious abode comfortably accommodates up to 10 people. The living area features a cozy fireplace, and the fully equipped kitchen ensures your culinary needs are met. Additional amenities include two bathrooms, an indoor braai, a pool table, TV with open view, and a dining area, making it perfect for larger families.
Beyond the comfort of the house, our farm offers an array of outdoor activities. A children's playground adds to the family-friendly atmosphere, while hiking, canoeing, horse-riding, and fishing opportunities abound nearby.
Maple House, just a two-and-a-half-hour drive from Johannesburg, provides a relaxed and tranquil setting for your getaway. Here, you can revel in the pleasure of observing local wildlife, such as blesbok, ostriches, and wild horses, alongside two picturesque dams.
The beauty of Maple House extends to the diverse birdlife in the area, with fish eagle breeding nests and the possibility of spotting the critically endangered Wattled Crane and the White-winged Flufftail.

PET POLICY
At Maple House, we warmly welcome your pets. Our serene dams offer a perfect backdrop for refreshing morning strolls and swims with your dogs. We charge an additional R200 per pet for the stay and kindly request that pets refrain from using furniture and beds. Dullstroom boasts pet-friendly restaurants, ensuring a delightful experience for you and your furry companions. Maple House is individually fenced for your dogs safety and your peace of mind.
