Welcome to Fisherman's, where we extend a warm welcome to pet-loving travelers and their furry companions. Nestled in the serene Dullstroom countryside, just 13km from town, our self-catering guest farm is dedicated to making your experience as comfortable and memorable as possible. Accessible via the well-maintained Machadodorp gravel road, even your trusty sedan car will find its way to us with ease.

Fisherman’s is a private, cozy, and romantic wooden cottage, ideally situated on the edge of a tranquil Wattle tree forest, overlooking one of our picturesque trout dams. The cottage boasts two bedrooms, one with a double bed, and the other with three single beds, creating an inviting atmosphere for couples or small families. Sharing a well-appointed bathroom, you'll find everything you need for a comfortable stay. The fully equipped kitchen ensures you can prepare meals for a maximum of 5 people, and a welcoming indoor fireplace adds to the charm. You'll also find a TV with open view, Wi-Fi, and an enclosed braai area to complete your experience. As you relax, be on the lookout for our resident wild horses, which roam freely on this enclosed property.

Our farm is a sanctuary of natural beauty, with two expansive dams and jetties that elevate the charm of early morning or sunset walks. During your leisurely strolls, take delight in observing abundant birdlife and local game, including blesbok, ostriches, and, of course, the friendly wild horses that make our property their home.

For bird enthusiasts, the area is a paradise. Keep an eye out for fish eagle breeding nests, and if you're fortunate, you might even catch a glimpse of the critically endangered Wattled Crane and the White-winged Flufftail.
